Srishti M.
Srishti has been trained in various styles of dance including Bollywood, Bhangra, Kathak, and Indian contemporary. She started dancing at Shiamak Davar’s Academy at the age of 2 where she danced until she graduated Middle School. She then moved to the USA where she was apart of a dance company that performed at various different venues and competitions. Once she graduated High School she moved back to India where she attended college. She auditioned and made the college team where she competed group and couples dances against several different colleges. Her dances won countless awards and recognitions.
Srishti has been teaching dance to children and adults since she was a junior in high school. She has also participated in many opportunities where she was invited to judge dance competitions. Her students have won many awards and have had the opportunity to audition on the hit TV show “Dance India Dance”. She has a love for dance and wishes to share her passion, knowledge, and experience with others
INSTRUCTOR
Jinal T.
Jinal Trivedi is born and raised in India and moved to United States in 2009. She has started learning dancing at the age of 6. She has learned and performed various forms of dance styles including bhartnatyam, bollywood and bhangra. Since she is originally from Gujarat, her favorite dance style is “Garba/Dandiya”. She has been staying in Seattle area from past 7 years. She has worked in Kumon for 5 years, where she taught math and reading to kids between the ages of 5 and 13. Currently she is working as a scientist for a biotech company. She is energetic and confident dance teacher who is interested to improve student’s confidence and understanding of dance.

Zuby C.
I was born and brought up in India and moved to Seattle in 2017. I have been passionate about dancing since I was a kid as it’s in my DNA! I have been performing since the age of three. When I am happy I dance, when I am sad I dance or when I am frustrated I dance. For me dance is nothing less than expressing my inner feelings.
I have been trained in Bharatanatyam, Hip Hop and Bollywood. My strengths are freestyle, Bharatanatyam, Bollywood and Hip Hop. I have won many awards in my dancing career from school, college and in companies wherever I worked. I have choreographed many stage shows for all age groups and known for my energy, expression, versatility and creativity.
I am an engineer by profession and working in one of the IT companies now. I am excited to share my dancing experience with my students!
INSTRUCTOR
Mahalakshmi
Mahalakshmi Prabhakar is a Bharatanatyam artiste, curator and teacher. A student of ‘Kalaimamani’ Smt Lavanya Sankar (senior disciple of Guru K J Sarasa), she has performed in several acclaimed dance festivals across India and Singapore. Her performances have received appreciation from several senior artistes and critics.
Currently based in Delhi, she continues to enhance her repertoire under her guru while also teaching children and adults online. Her teaching method and pedagogy is influenced by assisting her teacher for several years, being an examiner for Bharatanatyam exams and conducting workshops and talks for students on the finer aspects of dance.
She has been invited to speak at several National and International platforms such as The Latin American Congress for Indian Classical Dance, From the Attic, Rasa Arts : New York
Mahalakshmi believes that the study of art needs an interdisciplinary approach, and her organic teaching pedagogy will expose students to not just the technique of Bharatanatyam but also allied aspects such as literature, theory, history and Indian culture.
INSTRUCTOR
Adrika
Adrika finished her masters in Contemporary Dance Performance from Irish World Academy, University of Limerick, Ireland. She is trained in Kathak from Natya Institute of Kathak and Choreography, India for the past 6 years under the tutelage of Guru Smt.Madhu Natraj and
Ramya Nagaraj in Lucknow and Jaipur Gharanas (Style). She has been performing with the performing unit of the institute - Natya STEM dance Kampni for 4 years for many prestigious events and festivals ( to mention a few: Sangeet natak Academy, Dauli Mahotsav, Mysore Dussehra festival).
She has also passed with a distinction in Junior kathak exam conducted by Karnataka Government.
She has been tutoring kids from the ages 7 years to 17 years old and teaching women and adults for the last 4 years.
INSTRUCTOR
Alisa
Alisa was born and brought up in Seattle. She first started dancing at the age of 7 when she briefly took Odissi Classical dance classes. After that, she has been performing Bollywood consistently for the past 10 years. where she has participated in Bollywood dance competitions and community events. In addition to those styles, she has performed various Indian folk dances such as Sambalpuri. Alisa looks forward to reaching new heights with dance from learning to performing to now teaching. Apart from that, she recently graduated from the University of Washington in Business and is currently working for an IT company.
INSTRUCTOR
Kinjal
Kinjal has been trained in Bollywood, Indian semi-classical and folk dance styles, including Rajasthani Ghoomar, Kalbeliya and Gujarati Garba. She started learning dance at the age of 5 and has performed at various stage shows since then. Born and raised in India, she moved to the US in 2020. She has been trained from Shaimak Davar’s academy, performed at their stage shows and was also awarded as best dancer in the batch. She was a part of her college dance team in India and has choreographed various performances for cultural fests. She also represented her college at the West zone level of the National Youth festival of India. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Biotechnology.
She is a dedicated dance teacher with a vision to represent the art that Indian dance forms and Bollywood has to offer.
INSTRUCTOR
Preethi
Preethi was born in Chennai, India. She grew up in Mumbai. Through her annual day programs, she got the opportunity to explore a wide variety of dance styles like South Indian Kollywood dance, South Indian folk dance, Bollywood dance and contemporary dance. Throughout her childhood, she has had several opportunities to perform on dance shows and choreograph other dances. She moved to Seattle, USA in 2011. She is a software engineer by profession and has a beautiful family with two kids and a dog. Her recent dance partner is her 7 year old daughter, who loves to learn and dance along with her. Her passion for dance and love to share it with little kids has made her choose My Dance World Academy.
INSTRUCTOR
Neha
Neha was born and brought up in Rajasthan, India and moved to Seattle in 2017. She has been performing since the age of four. She participated in many cultural events in schools and colleges and also choreographed some of them. She has a solid understanding of different Bollywood dance styles, such as Contemporary, Freestyle, Rajasthani Folk dance and Bhangra. She is a software engineer and dance is her passion. In her class, you can learn step by step dance to your favourite Bollywood songs. In addition to being a dancer, Neha has a passion for teaching and sharing what she has learned over the years . She enjoys dancing, feels dance and lives dance!
