INSTRUCTOR
Srishti M.
Srishti has been trained in multiple styles of dance including Bollywood, Bhangra, Kathak, and Indian Contemporary. Her dance journey began at the age of two when she started training at the renowned Shiamak Davar’s Institute for the Performing Arts in India, where she continued learning and performing throughout her early years.
After moving to the United States, Srishti continued to pursue her passion for dance and became part of a dance company that performed at various cultural events, venues, and competitions. Following high school, she returned to India for college, where she successfully auditioned for the college dance team. As part of the team, she competed in both group and couples dance competitions against several colleges, earning numerous awards and recognitions for her performances.
Srishti has been teaching dance to both children and adults for many years, beginning when she was still in high school. Throughout her teaching career, she has also been invited to judge dance competitions and mentor aspiring dancers. Many of her students have gone on to win awards and have even had opportunities to audition for the popular television dance competition “Dance India Dance.”
For Srishti, dance is more than just movement—it is a way to build confidence, creativity, discipline, and joy. Through My Dance World Academy, she hopes to inspire students of all ages to discover their love for dance while learning in a supportive and encouraging environment.
INSTRUCTOR
Jinal T.
Jinal Trivedi was born and raised in India and moved to the United States in 2009. She began learning dance at the age of six and has trained in several styles including Bharatanatyam, Bollywood, and Bhangra. Being originally from Gujarat, her favorite dance style is Garba and Dandiya, which she especially enjoys sharing with students.
Jinal has been part of the Seattle area community for several years and brings both teaching experience and a love for working with children. She previously worked at Kumon for five years, where she taught math and reading to students between the ages of 5 and 13. This experience helped her develop strong skills in guiding young learners with patience, encouragement, and structure.
In addition to her passion for dance and teaching, Jinal currently works as a scientist at a biotechnology company. She is an energetic and confident instructor who enjoys helping students build confidence, rhythm, and a deeper appreciation for dance in a fun and supportive environment.
INSTRUCTOR
Zuby C.
Zuby was born and raised in India and moved to Seattle in 2017. Dance has been a part of her life since childhood—it’s truly in her DNA. She began performing at the age of three and has always used dance as a way to express herself. Whether she’s feeling joyful, reflective, or energetic, dance has always been her favorite way to connect with her emotions and creativity.
She has trained in Bharatanatyam, Hip Hop, and Bollywood, and her strengths include freestyle, Bharatanatyam, Bollywood, and Hip Hop. Throughout her dancing journey, Zuby has received several awards for her performances in school, college, and within professional communities. She has also choreographed numerous stage performances for dancers of all ages and is known for her energy, expressive style, versatility, and creativity.
Outside of dance, Zuby works as an engineer in the IT industry, but her passion for dance continues to be an important part of her life. She loves sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with students and strives to help them build confidence, rhythm, and joy through dance.

INSTRUCTOR
Saloni
Saloni was born in Gujarat and grew up in Mumbai, India. Dance has always been a natural part of her life, and she has often been described as a “born dancer.” She brings over 10 years of experience teaching and performing in a variety of dance styles including Bollywood, Hip Hop, Semi-Folk, Rajasthani, Bhangra, and Garba.
Saloni began her journey as a freelance choreographer at the age of seventeen, teaching and choreographing for dancers of all age groups. During her school and college years, she actively participated in numerous cultural festivals and competitions, consistently earning top honors. She proudly represented her college in dance at the West Zone level of the National Youth Festival of India and won first place at her college’s annual day performances every year.
After college, Saloni continued choreographing and teaching dance, including leading a group performance at the Chetna Institute of Management in Mumbai, where the team won first prize. She has also choreographed many family sangeet performances, working with dancers of all ages and helping them bring energy and creativity to the stage.
Professionally, Saloni is a lawyer who practiced in Mumbai before moving to the United States in 2017. Since then, she has been a proud mother of twins. While raising her children, she rediscovered her passion for dance and was inspired to share that passion with the next generation.
Saloni is excited to bring her energy, creativity, and love for dance to her students at My Dance World Academy, where she hopes to inspire children to build confidence, express themselves, and enjoy the joy of movement.
INSTRUCTOR
Adrika
Adrika holds a Master’s degree in Contemporary Dance Performance from the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance at the University of Limerick, Ireland. She has received extensive training in Kathak from the prestigious Natya Institute of Kathak and Choreography in India, where she studied for six years under the guidance of Guru Smt. Madhu Natraj and Ramya Nagaraj, specializing in both the Lucknow and Jaipur gharanas (styles).
During her time at the institute, Adrika performed with the professional performing ensemble Natya STEM Dance Kampni for four years. Through this experience, she had the opportunity to perform at several prestigious cultural festivals and events, including the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Dhauli Mahotsav, and the renowned Mysore Dussehra Festival.
Adrika has also been recognized for her excellence in Kathak, earning a Distinction in the Junior Kathak Examination conducted by the Government of Karnataka.
With a passion for teaching and sharing her knowledge of dance, Adrika has been instructing students for the past four years. She has worked with children between the ages of 7 and 17 as well as adult learners, helping them develop strong technique, appreciation for classical dance, and confidence in their performances.
At My Dance World Academy, Adrika is excited to share the beauty and discipline of Kathak and contemporary dance while inspiring students to grow both artistically and personally.
INSTRUCTOR
Alisa
Alisa was born and raised in Seattle and has been passionate about dance from a young age. She first began her dance journey at the age of seven when she briefly trained in Odissi classical dance. Over the years, she developed a strong interest in Bollywood dance, which she has been actively performing for the past ten years.
Throughout her dance journey, Alisa has participated in various Bollywood dance competitions and community cultural events. In addition to Bollywood, she has also performed several Indian folk dance styles, including Sambalpuri, bringing diversity and cultural richness to her performances.
Alisa is excited to continue growing in the world of dance—from learning and performing to now sharing her passion through teaching. She looks forward to inspiring students and helping them build confidence while enjoying the art of dance.
Outside of dance, Alisa recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business and currently works at an IT company.
INSTRUCTOR
Preethi
Preethi was born in Chennai, India, and grew up in Mumbai. From a young age, she discovered her love for dance through school annual day performances, where she had the opportunity to explore a variety of dance styles including South Indian Kollywood dance, South Indian folk dance, Bollywood, and contemporary dance.
Throughout her childhood, Preethi actively participated in dance performances and also choreographed routines for school events and cultural programs. These experiences helped nurture her passion for dance and creativity from an early age.
Preethi moved to Seattle in 2011 and now calls it home. Professionally, she works as a software engineer and enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her two children and their dog. One of her favorite dance partners today is her 7-year-old daughter, who loves learning and dancing alongside her.
Preethi’s passion for dance and her love for working with children inspired her to share her experience with young dancers. At My Dance World Academy, she enjoys helping students discover the joy of dance while building confidence, creativity, and a love for movement.
INSTRUCTOR
Neha
Neha was born and raised in Rajasthan, India, and moved to Seattle in 2017. She began dancing at the age of four and has been passionate about dance ever since. Throughout her school and college years, she actively participated in numerous cultural events and also choreographed performances for various programs.
Neha has a strong understanding of several Bollywood dance styles, including Bollywood freestyle, contemporary, Rajasthani folk dance, and Bhangra. Her performances are known for their energy, expression, and connection to music.
Professionally, Neha works as a software engineer, but dance continues to be one of her greatest passions. She loves creating a fun and encouraging environment where students can learn step-by-step choreography to their favorite Bollywood songs while building confidence and enjoying the experience of dance.
Neha truly believes in the joy of movement—she doesn’t just dance, she feels it and lives it, and she enjoys sharing that passion with every student she teaches.
